You can now have your say on the Torquay Harbour conservation area appraisal.

There are 75 listed buildings within this conservation area. Some listings cover groups of buildings, such as whole terraces. These are recognised and statutorily protected for their architectural or historic interest.

Key objectives within the consultation include:

  • the conservation of Torquay Pavilion
  • maintenance and protection of Princess Gardens
  • preservation and enhancement of the special characteristics of Torquay Harbour

Torquay harbour has conservation boundaries on each side:

  • North-East - Warberries
  • North-West - Abbey Road
  • East - Lincombes
  • West - Belgravia

The Torquay Harbour conservation area boundary was last reviewed in 2004. This consultation does not propose any changes.
