Torbay Council maintains and developes working partnerships with various external organisations termed 'outside bodies' through appointing Councillors to actively participate in their business.
A small number of appointments are made by full Council and these are set out in the Constitution. The majority of appointments are made by the Leaders of Political Groups once political balance has been applied.
Requests for appointments to be made to partnerships or outside bodies can be made via Democratic Services.
To find the contact details for the council’s representative on a particular outside body please follow the relevant link.
