South West Councils
Description
South West Councils brings together 41 local authorities in the region to:
a) provide a voice for constituent local authorities on major issues affecting the South West;
b) influence Government policy as it affects the region;
c) encourage partnership working between local authorities and other organisations and agencies in the South West on policy issues where a broader regional approach is required;
d) promote the sharing of good practice; and
e) Support councils through the delivery of the South West Improvement and Efficiency Partnership (SWIEP).
