We understand the importance of assistance dogs. They support their owners' daily activities and well-being. We have a commitment to accessibility. Working/assistance dogs are permitted on all Torbay beaches, all year round.
We want everyone to have a comfortable experience on the beach. We kindly request that all assistance dogs are clearly identified as such with a vest or harness. This helps to inform other beachgoers. They will then understand why the dog is on the beach and welcome it.
Beyond the buildings, the north end of Oddicombe beach is closed due to the risk of rocks falling from the unstable cliff face.
Nestled at the bottom of red sandstone cliffs Oddicombe beach is a sheltered haven for those looking for a relaxing day out.

Away from the beach, a steep walk to the cliff top is well rewarded with magnificent views across the bay. For those who want the breathtaking views without losing breath, there’s access to the cliff top via the
