Events
Exhibition celebrating Her Majesty the Queen
Torre Abbey is restaging an exhibition celebrating the many times Her Majesty the Queen visited the Bay during her reign. This exhibition can be viewed for free by coming in the main entrance and turning right into the Medieval Undercrofts. The space can also be used as a place for reflection and quiet contemplation.
More information can be found on the Torre Abbey website.
Torbay’s Ageing Well Festival
Changes have been made to the festival programme to allow people in the community to come together to remember Her Majesty the Queen and celebrate her life in whatever way they choose.
Throughout the day there will be tributes, a Book of Condolence, music from a church singing group alongside the Salvation Army Band, and time for reflection and prayer.
The Ageing Well Festival takes place at the Riviera Centre between 10am and 5pm, with a special Commemorative Service at 3pm. For more visit the Ageing Well Festival website.
