69 businesses in Torquay and 58 in Paignton are part of Radio Net. These are portable radios to improve communication between traders and address shoplifting and ASB. The radio system is linked directly into the CCTV control room and the police.
63 Torquay businesses are part of Night Net, a radio system operating in the evening and night-time economy. Street Marshalls and pastors also carry them.
