Anne-Marie Bond, Interim Chief Executive of Torbay Council, said: “I am delighted that Jacquie has joined us in this role. She brings with her a wealth of experience in safeguarding and permanency planning and demonstrable strong leadership whilst remaining focussed on impact and outcomes for children”.

Jacquie Sims, Divisional Director, for Safeguarding at Torbay Council said: “I am very much looking forward to being part of Torbay’s improvement journey, helping to shape relationship based practice, support and services for its most vulnerable children and families. My most recent experience has included an ILACS Ofsted inspection and leading the emergency planning response in relation to COVID-19 for Children’s Social Care – both which are priorities for Torbay”.
