Lymington Road

Update 6 August 2024

Work started on this project in July 2022 and completed in April 2024.

By investing in and redeveloping the site we have built five modern light industrial units and made improvements to the public space.

The community helped us to shape the final design to ensure that the space feels safe for all users at all times of the day.

The space now features:

• Space for businesses
• A new international coach bay
• Weather protection for passengers
• Wayfaring information
• New disabled toilet
• Enhanced lighting

Project benefits

The development has allowed us to.

• Create opportunities for small local businesses, helping to boost the local economy and create new jobs.
• Provide new facilities that provide a more comfortable and convenient travel experience.

Funding

This project is funded from our Growth Fund, alongside funded awarded by the Heart of the South West LEP’s ‘Getting Building Fund’.

We are currently seeking long-term tenants for these units.
