Brixham’s Shoalstone Pool is an outdoor seawater swimming pool and is one of only a few left in the country. It is built on a natural rock pool and was opened to the public in 1896. It has large open areas to relax in and enjoy the sun and there is also Shoalstone Beach, a small shingle beach adjacent to the pool.
Shoalstone Pool is open for general swimming from May to September. There is no entry charge, but they do ask for a voluntary donation to help cover our running costs.
There is easy access at the back of the pool and a nice café with superb views across the bay. There is a picnic area to use if you have brought your own food and drink.
