For several years there have been plans for the regeneration of Garfield Road car park.
During the summer of 2024 work to demolish this car park were completed. This work was funding using Land Release Funding we secured.
This work has helped us to move forward with unlocking the rest of the Victoria Centre site for redevelopment. The entire Victoria Centre site was identified in the Local Plan as an area of future growth for investment, housing and employment.
We are working with our Regeneration Partners, Willmott Dixon and Milligan on options for the Victoria Centre site.
