A scheme to swap the traffic flow through Torre (between Laburnum Road and Trematon Avenue) and associated works in the area to support this change, secured funding from the Local Transport Board through the LEP’s Growth Deal allocation. The Scheme received support from Full Council on 5 February 2015, and from the Transport Working Party on 15 January, as well as from local Community Partnership Groups.

The direction of traffic flow was swapped in April 2016, with associated works to be completed before the end of April 2017.
