Local Government Act 1972 Section 123(1), (2A)
Notice is hereby given that the Council of the Borough of Torbay intends to lease land having an area of approximately 2 metres square at Lower Ellacombe Park, Lower Ellacombe Church Road, Torquay, Devon which consists or forms part of an open space.
The land intended to be leased is for identification purposes shown edged red on plan titled Air Quality Monitoring Station which is available for download below and on-site notices at the location. This notice is given insofar as the land consists or forms part of an open space within the above Section, being for present purposes any land laid out or used for the purposes of public recreation. The intended lease with the Environment Agency is for the purposes of the installing and maintenance of an Air Quality Monitoring Station.
Objections to the intended disposal must be made in writing and addressed to Estates Manager, Torbay Council, Tor Hill House, Union Street, Torquay, TQ2 5QW by no later than 28 June 2024.
