Lots of support and training is available to our foster carers.
As a Torbay Foster Carer, you are never on your own. You have your own dedicated fostering social worker. You also have an experienced foster carer as a mentor.
There are local support groups and regular events. These are for you, your foster child and your own children. There is an out of hours, emergency support phone line. This provides guidance and visits where necessary.
