Under our duty to collect Business Rates and protect the public purse, we may ask to see following supporting documentation before an account is created.
As well as a copy of your lease agreement we may request;
For individuals
- Second contact address (other than ratepayers business address in Torbay)
- Contact phone number
- Copy of driving licence, a recent bank statement or utility bill
For companies
- Contact phone number and email address of a director
- Headed paper/email/invoice displaying the company details
- A recent bank statement or utility bill in the name of the company
