Reason for inclusion in Forward Plan: Delivery of the South Devon Link Road (SDLR) is fundamental to the regeneration of Torbay. It will bring opportunities for growth and increase economic prosperity. It is therefore vital to improving and sustaining Torbay's fragile economy.
Key Risks: If the Minister does not approve the funding bid it is likely that the Council will not pursue SDLR until at least after the Spending Review Period.
