The Localism Act requires local government to prepare an annual statement setting out policy for remuneration of Chief Officers and all staff for the subsequent financial year. The statement must be approved by Council for the financial year 2013/14. This policy is prepared in the context of outcomes from the Leading Through Austerity document.
