An apology for absence was received from Councillor Doggett who was represented by Councillor Atiya-Alla.

The Leader of the Council to provide a general overview of the budget proposals currently out to public consultation.

The Leader of the Council and Deputy Leader of the Council and Cabinet Member for Finance provided an overview of the Revenue and Capital Budget proposals for 2021/2022.  Other Members of the Cabinet highlighted some of the key points in respect of their portfolios.

To consider the budget proposals in relation to ‘Council Fit for the Future’ (see pages 18, 34-37, 41 and 44).

The Priorities and Resources Review Panel discussed and asked questions in respect of the budget proposals relating to the theme of ‘Council fit for the future’.

Their findings and recommendations will be presented to the Overview and Scrutiny Board on 11 November 2020 for approval.
