That the amount of £20,398.51 be awarded in principle from the Torquay allocation of the Community Infrastructure Levy Fund to Wellswood Community Partnership for the essential repairs and maintenance to access to Anstey’s Cove.

Reasons for the decision:

The applications were considered by the CiL Spend Panel on 14 May 2024 and recommendations were made to the Divisional Director of Planning, Housing and Climate Emergency.

Alternative options considered:

An alternative option would have been to refuse the application, this option was discounted as the application met the criteria for funding.

Implementation:

This decision will come into force with effect from 14 May 2024.
