Purpose:
Following the outcome of a feasibility study, to explore the potential for and delivery of a helipad, to facilitate connectivity to regional, national and international markets and promote investment in Torbay.
Decision:
That the decision of the Mayor taken on 14 December 2015 in respect of the allocation of £10,000 to carry out a feasibility study to explore the potential for and delivery of a helipad in Torbay be rescinded.
Reasons for the decision:
That upon further consideration of the issues raised by Overview and Scrutiny the Mayor no longer wishes to proceed with his original decision.

This decision will come into force immediately.
Information:
On 14 December 2015, the Mayor made the following decision:
“That the Chief Finance Officer be requested to allocate £10,000 from the 2015/16 Corporate Management budget to enable officers to carry out a feasibility study to explore the potential for and delivery of a helipad in Torbay.”
The Mayor has further considered the issue and his decision is set out above.
