Decision:

The policies of TEDC and TorVista Homes will be incorporated or adopted by Torbay Council, following the transfer. Within the subsequent 12 months the responsible Head of Service for each of the policies shall review and amend wording, where applicable, as per the renewal schedule of the policywhich is set out at Appendix 1 to this Record of Decision.

Reasons for the decision:

To enable the policies of TEDC and TorVista Homes companies to be transferred into Council policies and to ensure the Council’s policies reflect, and are up to date with, the functions formerly operated by TEDC and TorVista Homes.

Not applicable.

Implementation:

This decision will be implemented immediately.

Information:

Following the Council’s decision to dissolve Torbay Economic Development Company (TEDC)and TorVista Homes (TVH), the company policies will be incorporatedinto existing Council policies if applicable or will be adopted by Torbay Council if existing Council policies are not relevant.
