Consultation process
Following Cabinet on 20 August 2024 and conclusion of the call-in period, the proposed table of fares will go out for public consultation for 14 days. If no objections are received, then the proposed fees will come into effect immediately.

Key Risks: The cost to the public will increase, however the private hire fares increase on a regular basis as these cannot be set by the Council.
