General
1. The provision of regulated entertainment comprising the performance of live and/or recorded music, the performance of dance and anything of a similar description, as well as the provision of facilities for making music and/or dancing and anything of a similar description shall be permitted only in the Late Lounge as identified on the plan attached to the licence.
2. The provision of other regulated entertainment (plays and films) shall be permitted in all public parts of the premises but if provided other than in the late lounge, shall cease no later than midnight daily.
3. Other than in the Late Lounge and to bona fide residents and their guests, the sale of alcohol shall cease no later than midnight daily.
4. The provision of late night refreshment (other than to bona fide residents and their guests) shall cease no later than 30 minutes after the hours permitted for the sale of alcohol in each part of the premises.
5. In respect of non-residents the opening hours of the premises shall be further restricted:-
5.1 In the Late Lounge until 01.30 the day following on Mondays to Saturdays and 01.00 on Sundays.
5.2 In all other parts of the premises until 00.30 the day following each day.
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
1. Whenever regulated entertainment involving live or recorded music is provided to the public in the Late Lounge:-
1.1 SIA door staff shall be provided to cover all entry to the Late Lounge and to supervise therein in the ratio of 1 member of door staff for every 75 persons (or part thereof) expected to attend the event;
1.2 The said door staff shall be present throughout the duration of the event and for 30 minutes thereafter.
1.3 Nothing herein shall impose a requirement that SIA registered door staff shall be employed if the event is a pre-arranged private function for bona fide invited guests, to which the general public will not be admitted.
2. The maximum permitted capacity of the Late Lounge shall be 150 persons.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
1. Noise shall not emanate from the premises such as to cause persons in the neighbourhood to be unreasonably disturbed.
2. The volume of amplified sound used in connection with any regulated entertainment provided shall at all times be under the control of the designated premises supervisor or management and the controlling mechanism shall be operated from a part of the premises not accessible to the public.
3. The use of outside areas for the consumption of alcohol shall cease at 24.00 hours.
The Protection of Children From Harm
No conditions beyond the statutory restrictions in the Licensing Act 2003 relating to children are proposed in respect of these premises (including the mandatory condition relating to
the exhibition of films).
