The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
1 The need for door supervision must be monitored taking into account any advice from the Police.
2 Where applicable, active membership and support of the local ‘Pubwatch’ must be maintained.
3 Text and/or radio pagers shall be utilised.
4 Toughened glass must be utilised.
5 CCTV shall be provided and maintained in good working order.
6 Promotions that encourage illegal, irresponsible or immoderate consumption are prohibited.
Public Safety
7 Company policies and practices with regard to health and safety must be followed at all times.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
8 Reasonable steps must be taken to recognise the rights of local residents and customers must be encouraged to leave the premises quietly.
9 Managers shall be required to liase with local neighbours and resolve any reasonable concerns in accordance with the company ‘Role in the Community Guidelines’.
The Protection of Children from Harm
10 Alcohol must not be served to persons under the age of 18 at any time.
11 Managers and staff must be briefed in the importance of their responsibilities in ensuring customers are over 18.
12 No adult entertainment is permitted on the premises.
13 Any children under the age of 16 remain the responsibility of an accompanying adult when using the premises (and/or exterior area).
14 Staff must not be in the sole supervision of children which remains the responsibility of the accompanying adult at all times.
