General
1. Alcohol shall only be served to guests or their bona fide friends over the age of 18 years old. Non alcoholic drinks shall be available.
The prevention of crime and disorder
1. Bar opening times shall be clearly displayed in the bar and in all relevant rooms.
2. No alcohol shall be served to under 18s.
3. Individuals who appear intoxicated shall be refused alcohol.
4. Alcohol shall not be removed from the licensed areas.
5. CCTV shall be maintained in good working order.
6. The bar shall be securely locked after closing.
Public safety
1. All areas shall be well lit throughout the daytime and with adequate lighting throughout the night.
2. All fire exits must be clearly marked.
3. Access shall be available for emergency vehicles.
4. A current fire certificate and annual service contract for test/inspection shall be maintained.
5. A first aid box shall be available on the premises.
The prevention of public nuisance
1. Background music shall remain at a low volume only.
2. All waste including bottles from the bar shall be disposed of correctly, safely and before 2100 hours.
3. Persons leaving the establishment at night shall be asked to do so quietly and orderly.
4. Windows shall remain closed during live entertainment.
5. Deliveries of bottles/kegs shall take place during the day only.
The protection of children from harm
1. Children shall only be permitted in the bar during bar opening hours when acompanied by an adult.
2. Certificate/suitability of programmes shall be monitored when children are viewing in the bar area.
