CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
General
1. Alcohol shall only be sold or supplied from these premises in a sealed container.
2. No consumption of alcohol on the premises shall be permitted.
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
1. CCTV must be installed and working to the satisfaction of the Police. Recordings shall be maintained for one calendar month.
2. If the CCTV equipment is inoperative, the Police and the Local Authority must be informed as soon as possible and immediate steps must be taken to put the equipment back into action.
3. A notice must be displayed at the entrance of the premises advising CCTV is in operation.
4. Irresponsible drinks promotions must not be permitted.
5. A Refusals Book shall be kept and all refused sales entered with description of the customer and reason for refusal.
Public Safety
1. All exit doors must be easily openable without the use of a key, card or code and shall be available for egress while the public are on the premises.
2. Means of escape must be maintained unobstructed, immediately available and clearly identifiable
3. Exit doors must be regularly checked to ensure they function satisfactorily.
4. Any fire doors must be maintained effectively self closing and shall not be held open other than by approved devices.
5. Regular risk assessments shall be carried out and concerns identified shall be rectified.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
1. Delivery of goods shall be restricted to the following times: 0630 hrs and 2300 hrs.
2. The movement of bins and rubbish outside the premises shall be kept to a minimum before 0630hrs.
3. Staff shall monitor the outside area around the store to ensure that patrons do not congreate and cause annoyance.
4. Ventilation equipment must be regularly cleaned and maintained to minimize the levels of odour generated by the premises.
5. Suitable rubbish bins shall be provided for the disposal of packaging discarded by customers and must be regularly emptied.
The Protection of Children From Harm
1. If a person appears to be under twenty one years of age there must be no supply of alcohol to that person unless they can produce evidence of their date of birth.
2. Notices to that effect shall be prominently displayed on the premises.
3. The only forms of identification that shall be acceptable shall be a valid photo driving licence, passport, Portman Group or Pass ID.
