CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
General - All four Licensing Objectives
1. Alcohol must only be sold or supplied from these premises in a sealed container.
2. Consumption of alcohol must not be permitted on the premises.
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
1. CCTV must be installed and working to the satisfaction of the Police. Recordings must be maintained for one calendar month. If the CCTV equipment is inoperative the Police and the Local Authority must be informed as soon as possible and immediate steps should be taken to put the equipment back into action. A notice must be displayed at the entrance of the premises advising CCTV is in operation.
2. Irresponsible drinks promotions must not be permitted.
3. A Refusals Book shall be kept and all refused sales entered with description of the customer and reason for refusal.
Public Safety
1. All exit doors must be easily openable without the use of a key, card or code and must be available for egress while the public are on the premises. Means of escape will be maintained unobstructed, immediately available and clearly identifiable. Exit doors will be regularly checked to ensure they function satisfactorily. Any fire doors must be maintained effectively self closing and must not be held open other than by approved devices. Regular risk assessments must be carried out anc concerns identified must be rectified.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
1. Delivery of goods must be restricted to between 07:30hrs and 22:00hrs.
2. The movement of bins and rubbish outside the premises must be kept to a minimum before 07:30hrs.
3. Staff shall monitor the outside area around the store to ensure that patrons do not congregate and cause annoyance.
4. Ventilation equipment shall be regularly cleaned and maintained to minimize the levels of odour generated by the premises.
5. Suitable rubbish bins must be provided for the disposal of packaging discasrded by customers. These will be regularly emptied.
The Protection of Children from Harm
1. There will be no supply of alcohol to persons under the age of twenty one years unless they can produce evidence of their date of birth. Notices to that effect shall be prominently displayed on the premises. The only forms of identification that will be acceptable must be a valid photo driving licence, passport, Portman Group or Pass ID.
