The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
1. There must be no use or distribution of Class A drugs.
2. There must be a stop search policy which will help prevent any form of illegal activities.
3. One registered door supervisor must be available on the entrance during opening hours to the public and stewards to monitor the remainder of the premises, the number of stewards on duty shall depend on the number of patrons on the premises. Stewards and doors supervisors shall be equal to 1 to over 75 customers/patrons.
4. The use of computerised membership details must be in operation with photographic log, which allows door supervisors access to check members details and if necessary who have produced age identity at the time of application for membership if the persons age was in doubt.
5. The club must not allow prostitution or sale of unlawful pornography.
6. Gaming or gambling must not be permitted on the premises.
7. There must be a policy against the discrimination of LGBT.
8. Although the premises have no facilities for the disabled with wheelchairs, there shall be no discrimination against the disabled. The premises has a disabled toilet on the lower ground floor.
9. The organisation of racists activity or the promotion of racist attacks must not be permitted.
10. The sale of smuggled tobacco and alcohol must not be permitted, this will be prevented by the stop and search policy.
11. Hand held metal detector shall be used as spontaneously as required.
12. There shall be continuous patrolling of premises by Stewards.
13. There shall be a policy to work closely with the police to prevent the consumption and supply of illegal drugs, this is also covered by the stop and seach policy and with the use of the lon track itemiser, drug detection 'machine' when available from the police and also the alertness of staff.
14. The premises must have 18 CCTV cameras in strageic position throughout the premises and recordings must be saved for a minimum of 28 days. There shall be 6 monitors for the viewing by door supervisors and stewards, continually recording for improved security for the members and public on and off the premises. There shall be a safe capacity policy of 215 monitored by the use of a clicker.
15. There must not be discount drinks and shall not encourage excessive consumption. The bars close at the time required by the premises licence, drinking up time is at least 30 minutes after the last permitted sale.
16. They must keep out undesirables and known troublemakers.
17. There must be no entry to anyone who is intoxicated.
18. Staff must not drink alcohol when on duty.
19. Staff must now serve anyone who is clearly intoxicated.
20. Anti-social behaviour must be stopped to ensure the environment is safe for everyone.
21. Incidents must be logged in a comprehensive manner and incidents must be brought to the attention of management. The logbook entry must be comprehensive. Ensure the person entering prints name and dated the entry.
22. Information leaflets must be placed around the premises advertising cab numbers to encourage people not to drink and drive.
23. Toughened glasses, plastic bottles and safer alternatives where possible must be used to reduce the effects of violence.
24. There shall be the promotion for the designated driver approach and display flyers when available and in order to promote the use of taxis.
25. There shall be a promotion for safer sex backed and sponsered by Eddistone Trust.
26. All the exits and passageways must be checked before the premises are open to patrons.
27. The fire alarm system must be checked weekly.
28. The emergency lights must be checked daily for spent lamps and replaced.
29. Emergency evacuation drills shall be on a monthly basis to keep staff fully aware of their function in the case of emergency.
30. Staff must keep the dancing area free from drinks and allocate a member of staff to clear used glasses regularly and shall have a system in place to deal with spillages.
31. There must stop anti-social behaviour immediatley and ensure the environment is safe for everyone.
32. Staff must remain calm and composed in difficult situations.

35. If a guest does become intoxicated, staff shall arrange for safe transport home, with an arrange with a local cab firm.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
1. Signs must be prominent throughout the premises for the need of patrons and their guests to leave quietly and disburse away from the premises as quickly as possible.
2. Patrons must use the public car park in order to avoid on street parking.
3. There shall be the promotion for the designated driver approach and display flyers when available and in order to promote the use of taxis.
4. There must be an air conditioning facility and the input of fresh air and an adequate extractions system.
5. All necessary measures shall be taken in and out of the premises to deal with potential for nuisance e.g noise from muisic, the arrival and departure of patrons and staff, limit of fumes and lighting. Fixed notices shall be positioned to inform patrons and staff to keep noise to a minimum when leaving the premises. Insulated shutters and windows are not allowed open during the time music is played.
The Protection of Children from Harm
1. If in doubt, staff must ask for age identification. You must never serve a minor. Request appropriate ID. e.g Driving licence with photo, Passport, Proof of Age Scheme, Citizen Card, HM Forces ID Card, or any Official Card bearing a photograph.
2. Persons under the age of 18 years must not be permitted on the premises.
