The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
1. CCTV cameras are installed on the premises and shall be maintained in good repair.
2. Door supervisors shall be aware of and trained in drug awareness, underage drinking, and vigilant in checking persons entering the premises.
3. All staff shall wear uniforms.
4. Separate doors are used in all rooms to control entering and leaving the premises.
Public safety
1. The manager shall be trained in First Aid.
2. No fixed seats shall be more than 4 meters from the gangways.
3. Exits must be kept clear.
4. Car park lighting shall be maintained.
5. A No Smoking Area shall be available.
6. Access shall be provided for emergency vehicles.
7. A designated area shall be available for dancing only.
8. A taxi service shall be provided for patrons.
The prevention of public nuisance
1. No kegs or bottles shall be emptied outside of the premises after 20.00 hours. Deliveries shall be before 20.00 hours.
2. Doors and windows shall be closed during entertainment to reduce noise breakout.
3. Staff shall monitor the use of the car park and patrons shall be encouraged not to congregate to cause annoyance.
4. There shall be no cooking smells.
The protection of children from harm
1. There shall be a designated family room with parent supervision.
2. Toilets shall be separate to other rooms.
3. All power points shall be covered.
4. There shall be a separate entrance from any other rooms in the Public House.
5. Children under the age of 18 shall not be permitted in the Bar Area where alcohol is on sale.
6. All staff shall be trained and aware of underage drinking.
7. There shall be a non smoking area.
8. Cigarette machines shall be in view of the Bar.
