General
1. Substantial food shall be available throughout licensing hours.
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
1. CCTV covering the outside patio area must be installed and maintained in good working order. Recordings must be kept for a minimum of 31 days, during which time the police must have access to them at any reasonable time.
Public Safety
1. All intoxicating liquor shall be consumed by persons sat at tables.
2. Drinks must not be served in glass bottles from which it is intended or likely that a person shall drink.
3. Customers must be asked to wear footwear at all times.
4. Customers are prohibited from taking glasses off the premises to the beach or Preston Green.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
1. Noise or vibration will not emanate from the premises such as to cause persons in the neighbourhood to be unreasonably disturbed. Noise should not be audible within any noise sensitive premises with windows open for normal ventilation especially after 23:00hrs. The criteria applied from boundary to the nearest residential property are;
(a) Before 23:00hrs- Noise emanating from the premises will not be clearly distinguishable above other noise.
(b) After 23:00hrs- Noise emanating from the premises will not be distinguishable above background levels of noise.
(c) The Local Authority will reserve the right in cases of tonal noise and where the premises are attached to others (i.e. semi’s and terraced properties) to make further assessments from within the residential property.
2. Doors and windows to be kept shut during amplified live music and entertainment to reduce noise breakout. A management scheme will be in place to ensure this situation remains.
3. The volume of amplified sound used in connection with the entertainment provided shall at all times be under the control of the licensee/ management.
4. Used plates and glasses must be regularly collected.
5. Bottle bins shall be emptied in daylight hours.
6. The bin area must be kept clean and tidy.
7. Staff and customers must be encouraged to leave the premises quietly at the end of the night.
The Protection of Children from Harm
1. Alcohol must not be served to under 18’s.
2. 16 and 17 year olds must be accompanied by an adult where alcohol is requested with a meal.
3. Staff must be trained to prevent under age sales.
4. PASS cards shall be encouraged as suitable identification.
