The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
1. Security lighting must be installed.
2. The front door must always be locked when premises unattended.
3. Residents shall have their own keys.
4. No disorderly behaviour shall be tolerated.
5. The bar till shall be securely locked away.
6. The bar shall be locked off from residents at night.
7. All drinks shall be served in strengthened or toughened glasses and no drinks to be served in bottles from which it is intended or likely that a person shall drink.
Public Safety
1. Fire certificate must be held.
2. Appropriate fire safety equipment must be installed, and emergency lighting must be installed.
3. First aid kit must be available.
4. Accident book must be kept.
5. Emergency exits must be unobstructed at all times.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
1. The placing of refuse, such as bottles, into receptacles outside the premises shall take place at times that will prevent disturbance to nearby properties.
2. All deliveries necessary for the operation of the business shall be carried out at times and in a manner as to prevent nuisance and disturbance to nearby residents.
3. Cooking, noxious or persistent smells from the premises shall not cause a nuisance to nearby properties and the premises shall be properly vented.
4. The consumption of alcohol in the front garden shall cease at 2200 hrs every day.
The Protection of Children From Harm
1. The premises shall comply with Devon and Cornwall Constabulary age check.
2. No person under 16 years of age shall be allowed in the bar serving area unless accompanied by a responsible adult.
3. Appropriate signage shall be displayed.
