The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
1. There shall be a 30 minute winding down period at the end of permitted hours in order to consume the last drink less quickly, with access to the pub's toilet facilities. There shall be no provision of non-alcoholic refreshment during this period.
2. A personal licence holder shall be present on the premises whenever the premises are open after 20.00 hours.
Public Safety
1. On certain occasions the capacity of the whole of the premises (including staff and performance) shall not exceed 175. The premises licence holder shall ensure that premises do not become over crowded.
2. CCTV shall continue to be maintained in the function room and car park.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
1. Recorded music indoors shall be reduced to background level at 00.00 hours except on New Years Eve and New Years Day.
2. Recorded music volume shall be reduced to background level from 00.00 hours and during the wind down period to create a mood change.
3. All windows shall be kept closed after 00.00 hours.
4. A notice shall be predominately placed at the exits asking customers to leave quietly.
5. As far as practical, when persons on or leaving the Premises shall be reminded to conduct themselves in an orderly manner and to not in any way cause annoyance to residents or persons passing by.
6. Noise or vibration shall not emanate from the premises such as to cause persons in the neighbourhood to be unreasonably disturbed. Noise should not be audible within any noise sensitive premises with windows open for normal ventilation especially after 23.00 hours. The criteria applied, from boundary to nearest residential property are;
(a) Before 23.00 hours - Noise emanating from the premises shall not be clearly distinguishable above other noise.
(b) After 23.00 hours - Noise emanating from the premises shall not be clearly distinguishable above background levels of noise.
(c) The local authority shall reserve the right in cases of tonal noise and where premises are attached to others to make further assessments from within the residential property.
7. The volume of amplified sound used in connection with the entertainment provided shall at all times be under the control of the premises licence holder/management.
8. All doors and windows within the function room and updates bar shall remain closed during amplified live music to reduce noise breakout. A management scheme shall be in place to ensure this situation remains.
9. For amplified live music, wind down music of a gentler nature shall be played during the period of 23.30 hours and 00.30hours.
10. Throughout the period of amplified live music and entertainment, staff shall monitor noise levels from the perimeter of the premises.
11. Cooking, noxious or persistent smells from the premises shall not cause a nuisance to nearby properties.
12. The mechanical extract system installed within the kitchen shall operate in a manner so as not to cause noise or odour nuisance to nearby residents.
The Protection of Children From Harm
1. Photographic ID shall be required by anyone seeking to purchase alcohol who appears to be under 20 years of age.
