CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
The prevention of crime and disorder
1. A CCTV system of an evidential standard shall be installed to the satisfaction of the Police. The system shall be in operation at all times the premises are open to the public. All recordings from the system shall be kept for a period of 14 days and the Police shall have access and be provided with recordings where requested.
2. A burglar alarm will be fitted.
3. Tills will be left open at the end of the day with no cash on site.
4. Alcohol will be displayed in full view of staff. All spirits will be kept behind the serving counter.
5. An incident book will be maintained and a record made of any refused sales.
6. Anyone intoxicated or under the influence of drugs will be asked to leave / refused alcohol, and the Police will be notified when necessary.
7. All staff will receive training in relation to their responsibilities under the Licensing Act, in particular to identifying persons who may be drunk or under age.
Public safety
1. A first aid box will be kept on site.
2. Fire extinguishers will be on site.
3. Emergency lighting will be installed.
The prevention of public nuisance
1. All deliveries to the shop of stock etc will be made in business hours and not early morning or late night to prevent disturbance to anyone residing in nearby residential properties.
The protection of children from harm
1. The premises shall operate a Challenge 25 policy and any individual who appears to be under the age of 25 will be required to produce an approved form of photographic identification as outlined within the Torbay Council's Licensing Statement of Principles.
2. Challenge 25 posters will be displayed within the premises.
