CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
General
None
The prevention of crime and disorder
1. A CCTV system capable of providing images of an evidential standard in all lighting conditions, particularly with regard to facial recognition, shall operate throughout the times the premises are open to the public, with a monitor behind the counter and a recording system. All recording shall be kept for a minimum of 14 days and copies of recordings shall be supplied to the police within 7 days of any request.
2. Any identified defect in the CCTV system shall be logged at the premises and remedied as soon as reasonably practical. The Police Licensing Officer or Police Licensing Team shall be notified by email of all defects, the action required to rectify the situation and the time frame for such action, within 24 hours of the defect being identified.
3. On Fridays, Saturdays, Bank Holiday Sundays, Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, SIA door stewards shall be employed at the premises from 23:00hrs until 30 minutes after the premises have closed to the public at a ratio of 2 stewards for the first 100 customers and 1 additional steward for each 100 persons thereafter.
4. All SIA door stewards shall wear yellow high visibility jackets/tabards for the entirety of their duty.
5. The premises shall join the Nitenet Radio System and actively participate in this initiative.
6. The store manager shall ensure that an Incident Book is kept on the premises and that all incidents are recorded therein on a daily basis. This record shall include the full names of all persons involved, if possible or practical to do so. The Incident Book shall be made available for inspection by a Police Officer, a Police Licensing Officer or officers of the Local Authority on demand, and such records shall be kept at the premises for a minimum of 12 months.
7. There shall be a minimum of two members of staff present on the premises from 23:00hrs until closing time.
8. All drinks shall be served in plastic or cardboard vessels. No drinks will be sold in glass bottles.
9. The premises will be fitted with alarms and have under-counter panic buttons. These will be linked to a 24 hour monitoring service - Kings Security or some similar organisation.
Public Safety
1. All shift runners must have attended and passed a first aid course.
2. There will be a first aid kit in the store.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
1. There must be waste bins inside and where permitted, outside the unit. These waste bins shall be emptied and cleaned on a daily basis.
2. The premises will comply with the DEFRA voluntary code of practice on reducing litter caused by 'food on the go' - specifically conducting daily litter picks will be the immediate priority of the store.
The Protection of Children From Harm
1. The premises will comply with current employment legislation as regards to the employment of under 18s.
2. Staff who are under 18 years of age shall not be permitted to work after 23:00hrs.
