CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
(a) The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
1. CCTV capable of covering both inside and outside in positions agreed with both the Council and the Police must be previded to enhance the safety of patrons and staff.
2. All cameras must be maintained in good working order and must continually record.
3. CCTV records must be retained at the premises for a minimum of 31 days, and must be made available to the police, where the police demand then to be of evidential value.
4. All soft drinks will be sold in cans or plastic bottles - drinks in glass containers must not be sold.
(b) Public Safety
1. A log book or recording system must be kept upon the premises in which must be entered particulars of inspections made; those required to be made by Statute, and information compiled to comply with any public safety condition attached to the premises licence that requires the recording of such information. The logbook must be kept available and produced for inspection when required by persons authorised by the Licensing Act 2003 or associated legislation.
2. Adequate access must be provided for emergency vehicles.
3. All parts of the premises and all fittings and apparatus theren, door fastenings and notices and the seating, lighting, heating, electrical, ventilation, sanitary accommodation, washing facilities and other installations, must be maintained at all times in good order and in a safe condition.
4. The fire safety measures with which the premises are provided must be maintained in good working order, and their adequacy must be determined on a regular basis, by the carrying out of fire risk assessment, as required by, and in accordance with the Fire Precautions (Workplace) Regulations.
5. The electrical installation must be inspected annually.
6. All electrical appliances will be inspected in line with a risk based inspection programme.
7. All doors and fastenings must at all times be kept in proper working order. Gangways, exit routes and steps must be maintained in good order with non-slippery and even surfaces.
8. Free drinking water will be available at all times.
(c) The Prevention of Public Nuisance
1. Prominent, clear and legible notices will be displayed at all exits requesting the public to repect the needs of local residents and to leave the premises and the area quietly.
2. Deliveries of food and other materials necessary for the operation of the business must be carried out at such a time or in such a manner as to prevent nuisance and disturbance to nearby residents.
3. The manager must ensure that staff who arrive early morning and depart late at night when the business has ceased trading conduct themselves in such a manner to avoid causing disturbance to nearby residents.
4. Patrons shall be asked not to stand around talking in the street outside the premises and asked to leave the vicinity quickly and quietly.
5. Regular maintenance must be carried out on all plant and machinery to ensure that noise disturbance from such sources is kept to a minimum.
6. The movement of bins and rubbish outside the premises will be kept to a minimum after 11.00pm.
7. All the rubbish produced by the premises must be stored securely within the premises and collected at a designated time by a licensed waste carrier.
8. Facilities for depositing litter and the collection of litter generated by patrons will be available and maintained.
9. At close of business, all litter attributable to the business which is in the vicinity of the premises must be removed.
10. In order to minimise litter, the business must operate a programme of waste minimisation to include:
(i) minimising wrapping on food
(ii) provision of bags only on request
(iii) the use of recyclable and biodegradable materials where practicable
