CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
General
1. In line with the government guidance, we shall manage the premises in line with all four of the licensing objectives and all relevant legislation.
2. A company approved by Torbay Council's Trading Standards Department shall be engaged by the Premises Licence Holder to carry out a test purchase of alcohol at Bargain Booze on 3 occasions over a period of 12 months. If the Premises fail a test purchase within that 12 month period, the Premises Licence holder shall engage the services of that company for an additional 12 months to carry out 3 further test purchases. If all 3 test purchases are successful within the first 12 month period, this condition shall cease thereafter.
3. The Premises Licence Holder shall notify Torbay Council's Trading Standards Department of the result of each test purchase within 5 working days of the test purchase taking place.
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
1. The premises shall have comprehensive CCTV coverage, the system records and data shall be kept for a minimum of 28 days. Downloads shall be available to the relevant authorities upon request.
2. Whenever the Designated Premises Supervisor is not at the premises, another person shall be nominated by them to be the responsible person to manage the premises.
3. All spirits must be kept behind the counter area and to be sold by counter service only.
Public Safety
1. The licence holder is aware of their responsibilities under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety Order) Act 2005.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
1. There shall be a lockable bin to the rear of the premises to store all cardboard waste from the business.
The Protection of Children from Harm
1. Any person who looks or appears to be under the age of 25 shall be asked to provide identification to prove that they are over the age of 18
2. Only the UK photo driving licence, passport or government approved PASS cards will be accepted as proof of age
