  ANNEXE 1

  MANDATORY CONDITION: WHERE LICENCE AUTHORISES SUPPLY OF ALCOHOL

   

  1)              No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence:-
   

  ()        at a time where there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or
   

  ()        at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his/her personal licence is suspended.

   

  2)              Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.

   

  3)              (1) The premises licence holder or club premises certificate holder must ensure that an age verification policy is adopted in respect of the premises in relation to the sale or supply of alcohol.

   

  (2) The designated premises supervisor in relation to the premises licence must ensure that the supply of alcohol at the premises is carried on in accordance with the age verification policy.

   

  (3) The policy must require individuals who appear to the responsible person to be under 18 years of age (or such older age as may be specified in the policy) to produce on request, before being served alcohol, identification bearing their photograph, date of birth and either:-

   

  (a) a holographic mark, or

   

  (b) an ultraviolet feature.

   

  4)              A relevant person shall ensure that no alcohol is sold or supplied for consumption on or off the premises for a price which is less than the permitted price.

  ANNEXE 2

   

  CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE

   

   

  General

   

  1.              The premises are a convenience store operating under the Bookers "Premier Express" brand and shall therefore operate to the standards required by that franchise in respect of quality, safety and security.

   

  2.              Furthermore the business will also be a Main Post Office and shall, as such, have the safety and security equipment installed at least to the standard required by the Post Office.

   

   

  The Prevention of Crime and Disorder

   

  1.              There shall be permanent CCTV equipment monitoring the entrance/exit and the interior of the premises.

   

  2.              All spirits shall be displayed behind the counter, where only staff will have access for sale to the public.

   

  3.              All other alcohol shall be displayed within view of the counter, which shall be manned at all times the store is open by members of staff who shall be trained in the requirements of the legislation regarding the sale of alcohol.

   

  4.              Signs shall be displayed regarding under-age sales and the business will adopt the "Challenge 25" identification checking scheme.

   

   

  Public Safety

   

  1.              The safety of the public shall be prioritized by the location of the displays of the alcohol for sale and the training of the staff in respect of the sale of alcohol to members of the public.

   

   

  The Prevention of Public Nuisance

   

  1.              The premises shall be an off licence and all staff shall be fully trained in the requirements of the licensing legislation.

   

  2.              All staff shall be trained to be aware of potential problems relating to possible noise or litter problems arising from the sale of alcohol.

   

  3.              It is not envisaged, in view of the nature of the business that this will prove to be an issue.

   

   

  The Protection of Children from Harm

   

  1.              All staff shall be trained regarding the sale to under age customers and the business shall be part of the "Challenge 25" scheme.
