General
1. A clear and legible notice shall be displayed on the notice board attached to the performance area, giving the normal hours, under the terms of the premises licence, during which licensable activities are permitted.
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
1. CCTV Cameras, managed by YPP, must be already in place to cover the bandstand and surrounding area.
2. CCTV recordings of the area must be kept for a minimum of 14 days and made available to the police, where the police demand them to be of evidential value.
Public Safety
1. As this is open parkland, adequate access must be provided for emergency vehicles.
2. The park is well lit at night, but performances shall end before full darkness, to enable easy and safe movement.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
1. There shall be no noise emanating from the premises before 10.00 hrs or after 22.00 hrs.
2. The premises shall not be used for more than 52 days per annum.
3. The electric supply is locked, so its use can be controlled to within the hours the licence is applied for. Any speakers, etc, shall be positioned to face towards the sea, away from the residential properties, to minimize noise disruption.
4. Performers shall be told to keep volume to a reasonable level and this shall be monitored by a YPP representative.
5. A limit of 2 hours shall be put on any one performance; no musical entertainment shall run for more than 2 hours without a break.
6. Patrons shall be requested to show respect for neighbours and leave quietly after an evening performance. A notice shall also be displayed on the notice boards to this effect.
The Protection of Children from Harm
1. YPP shall ensure all performances will be suitable for any age group, so children will not be at risk from the content of performances.
