General
1. The premises shall seek to fulfill the licensing objectives and comply with mandatory conditions specified on the Licensing Act 2003 at all times.
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
1. There shall be a responsible approach to alcohol sales and never take part of "discounted drinking", 2 4 1, happy hour.
2. There shall be use of plastic bottles and glasses depending on the type of entertainment provided, in the interest of safety.
3. They shall take advantage of the location to promote healthy living and eating offering reasonably priced alternatives for soft drinks, freshly squeezed juices, milk shakes, and smoothies.
4. The premises shall have an indoor and outdoor area, however all customers shall be seated at tables.
5. Regular plates, glasses and bottles collection shall be undertaken throughout the premises.
6. All members of staff shall be suitably trained to prevent the sale of alcohol to under 18's.
7. The premises shall promote "Think 21", "Don't drink and drive" campaigns.
Public Safety
1. The premises are a newly purpose build and all steps to ensure public safety shall be thoroughly covered. From a well signed emergency exits and state of the art emergency alarms to a rest area, adjacent to the toilets giving a facility for a disabled person, elderly, young children, and parents with young children to have a rest.
2. To ensure safety the Guardhouse Cafe shall be manned by at least 3 staff members each day.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
1. Taking into consideration the location, no noise emanating from the premises shall be audible to the nearest premises.
2. As part of their green credentials, they shall only have one vehicle making deliveries on site, once a day.
3. The food offering shall be designed and supplies chosen with waste and wastage in mind, a secure and designated area shall be allocated which will house a bottle bin, cardboard bin and waste bin with regular collections by their appointed suppler.
4. The premises shall have an open plan kitchen/prep and sitting area, therefore was paramount to equip the kitchen with cutting edge technology to minimize the cooking smells and noise traveling inside and out, as well as been able to keep the premises well ventilated.
5. Taking in consideration its location, smells shall not cause nuisance to nearby properties.
The Protection of Children from Harm
1. Alcohol shall not be served to children under 18, except in the limited circumstances allows for by law and when satisfied that proof of age has been adequately demonstrated.
2. The premises shall adopt RU21 Scheme.
3. The premises shall exercise discretion to protect children from harm at all times.
