General
1. CCTV must be installed with infra-red cameras for night time vision.
2. Police linked Burglar Alarm must be installed.
3. Staff shall be trained to deal with drunks and to run a strict challenge 21 policy.
4. Sensible drinking posters shall be displayed and shall run only sensible price promotions.
5. The licensee shall also liaise with local PCSO and attend ward licensee meetings.
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
1. CCTV must be installed.
2. All alcohol shall be bagged at point of sale to prevent opening before leaving premises.
3. There shall be responsible promotions on alcohol.
4. There shall be participation in ward meetings.
5. Staff shall be trained to deal with responsible alcohol retailing.
6. Tills shall be left open and empty at end of trading day. Only a minimal amount of cash shall be left on the premises overnight.
Public Safety
1. Posters shall be displayed to promote sensible drinking.
2. There must be CCTV.
3. There shall be only sensible promotions on alcohol.
4. First aid box must be kept on premises.
5. There shall be no trip hazards left on the sales floor.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
1. There shall be regular liaison with local PCSO and attend any meetings with relevant authorities concerned with alcohol supply.
2. CCTV must be installed.
3. Deliveries shall only be accepted in daylight hours.
The Protection of Children from Harm
1. Challenge 21 shall be adopted with only proof of age accepted being passport, driving licence or pass ID.
2. Alcohol shall be displayed next to counter area so staff can keep an eye on persons attempting to buy.
3. Spirits shall be kept on the top shelf to discourage younger customers from attempting to buy.
4. Cigarettes shall be kept behind counter and a refusals log shall be kept to ensure staff is keeping up checks on younger customers; this shall be extended to alcohol sales.
