General
1.
All staff shall be fully trained in all steps to promote the four licensing objectives. A document detailing these steps shall be displayed at all times within the premises.
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
1.
All drinking glasses in which drinks are served shall be made of plastic. All bottles in which drinks are served shall be made of plastic. Drinks may not be removed from the designated area. All glasses must be correctly stamped in accordance with weights and measures legislation.
2.
To prevent the sale of alcohol to persons under the age of 18 years suitable written proof of age shall be requested from young people attempting to purchase alcohol, in accordance with documents specified by Torbay Council's "Statement of Licensing Policy".
3.
Bar staff shall be suitably trained to prevent the sale of alcohol to under 18's.
4.
No alcohol shall be served to anybody who is or appears to be drunk.
5.
A clear and legible notice shall be displayed indicating normal hours under the terms of the premises licence during which the sale of alcohol is permitted.
Public Safety
1.
A log book shall be kept on the premises in which shall be entered the particulars of any inspections made. The log book shall be kept available and produced for inspection when required by persons authorised by the Licensing Act 2003 or associated legislation.
2.
Adequate access must be provided for emergency vehicles.
3.
All parts of the premises and all fittings and apparatus therein, door fastenings and notices and the seating, lighting, electrical, ventilation, sanitary accommodation, washing facilities and other installations, shall be maintained at all times in good order and in a safe condition.
4.
No alcohol shall be sold during hours of darkness. The bar shall be closed a minimum one hour before sunset to allow drinking up time, and for patrons to leave the premises during daylight conditions.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
1.
Deliveries of kegs, bottles, food or other materials necessary for the operation of the business shall be carried out at such a time or in such a manner as to prevent nuisance and disturbance to nearby residents.
2.
The premises shall remain open for at least half an hour after alcohol is served during which time patrons shall be dispersed gradually.
3.
Adequate waste receptacles shall be provided for the disposal of plastic bottles.
4.
When food for consumption off the premises is sold, adequate waste receptacles for use by patrons shall be provided in the local vicinity.
5.
All the rubbish produced by the premises shall be stored securely in a designated area or in a bin with a tight fitting lid. This shall help prevent litter being blown around.
The Protection of Children from Harm
1.
Drinks shall only be served in plastic glasses, plastic bottles or cans to prevent the risk of broken glass in any area where children may be.
2.
