General
1. Only guests residing at the guest house, or those attending functions shall be served with alcohol.
2. No guests under the age of 18 shall be served.
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
1. The premises shall generally not be open to the public.
2. At least one proprietor shall be on the premises at all times during licensing hours.
3. Maximum number of people in the building shall not exceed 35 at any given time - 15 guests and 20 at functions.
4. A notice at the front door shall remind guests to leave quietly, and not to remove any glass or bottles from the premises.
5. A written drugs policy shall be displayed on the information board.
Public Safety
1. The necessary first aid and health and safety procedures must be in place.
2. The necessary fire safety procedures must be in place.
3. Noise levels shall be controlled by the proprietor.
4. Smoking on the premises is now illegal and shall be enforced.
5. A portable ramp shall be available for assisting disabled people from the building quickly.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
1. Function guests shall be seen out of the premises by proprietors and reminded about keeping noise levels down.
2. A specific taxi company shall be used by the guest house for departing guests.
The Protection of Children from Harm
1. Any children attending on functions shall be under their parents charge.
2. Children under 18 shall not be served with alcoholic drinks, nor is any member of staff under the age of 18 able to serve drinks, except as part of the meal service.
