General
1. Bays Brewery shall actively promote the importance for the health and safety of the general public by advising that Bays products be enjoyed responsibly.
2. It is the applicant's intention that Bays products shall be marketed in such a fashion in which to attract the more mature alcohol consumer. As such it is not anticipated and the applicant shall not plan to sell considerable volumes of the products to younger members of society.
3. Bays Brewery must be a keen supporter of the government's anti drink driving campaign.
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
1. Al Patrons shall be accompanied by Bays Brewery Employee; often this shall be the Licensee.
2. No alcohol that is brought on site shall be consumed on the premises. A stringent ID system shall ensure that under 18's do not purchase alcohol.
3. Premises shall be locked and alarmed outside business hours and no cash shall be left on the premises. This policy shall be clearly displayed on signs in the licensed area.
Public Safety
1. A log system shall be used to establish firstly, persons on premise at any given time and secondly the capacity level of 20 is not exceeded in the retail area.
2. The production area shall be 'out of bounds' to the general public unless accompanied by a member of staff.
3. A detailed fire risk assessment must be carried out. A fully compliant and certified fire alarm system with smoke detectors must be installed. Fire emergency procedures shall be displayed as necessary.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
1. Noise emissions shall be kept to an acceptable level.
2. Adequate waste bins etc shall be fitted inside and out to minimize litter.
The Protection of Children from Harm
1. No children shall be permitted inside the premises unless accompanied by an adult (persons under the age of 16).
2. There must be no sale of alcohol to persons under the age of 18 years. ID shall be requested as proof of age. Anyone who appears to be under the age of 21 shall be asked for ID.
