General
1. CCTV cameras must be installed in eight locations on the premises covering inside the premises and immediate vicinity outside.
2. All entrances and windows must be fitted with security shutters and/or grilles to prevent break-ins/burglary when closed.
3. The building must be alarmed.
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
1. There must be a clear legible notice outside indicating normal trading hours and restrictions on admission of children at specified times.
2. Notices to patrons asking not to remove glasses or bottles from licensed area must be posted at all exits from the licensed area.
3. Staff must be trained to lookout for possible criminal activity, and by liaising with police to be able to identify drug behaviour and drug use odours.
Public Safety
1. There must be a comprehensive first aid kit maintained at the premises.
2. Set procedures must be agreed and in place for set incidents.
3. Supervisory staff on duty must have a first aid qualification.
4. Adequate access must be maintained at all times for emergency vehicles.
5. Pathways to WC's shall be adequately lit during after dark hours of trading.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
1. Premises shall remain open for at least half an hour after alcohol is served to allow gradual dispersion of patrons.
2. Patrons shall be asked verbally to moderate their behaviour if appearing to be rowdy when leaving.
The Protection of Children From Harm
1. There shall be promotion by signage of proof of age scheme.
2. Anybody looking under 21 shall be requested to prove age.
3. Staff training shall be given to enforce proof of age scheme.
4. No cigarettes (tobacco) shall be sold anywhere on the premises.
5. No gaming machines and no video machines shall be on the premises.
6. Children under 18 shall not be permitted to enter or remain after 18.00 hours.
