  MANDATORY CONDITION:  WHERE LICENCE AUTHORISES SUPPLY OF ALCOHOL

   

  1)       No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence:-
   

  ()        at a time where there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence , or
   

  ()        at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his/her personal licence is suspended.

   

  2)              Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.

   

  3.                             (1) The premises licence holder or club premises certificate holder shall ensure that an age verification policy applies to the premises in relation to the sale or supply of alcohol.

   

                                    (2) The policy must require individuals who appear to the responsible person to be under 18 years of  age (or such older age as may be specified in the policy) to produce on request, before being served alcohol, identification bearing their photograph, date of birth and a holographic mark.

  CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE

   

•  

  General

   

  1.              All efforts must be made to ensure the building is safe and fit for its purpose.

   

  2.              Wine must be sold in a responsible manner only by those holding a personal licence.

   

  3.              Safety of the public and children must be maintained at all times.

   

  The Prevention of Crime and Disorder

   

  1.              Must ensure that the premises are secure, with bars at windows and shutters at doors, to deter thieves.

   

  2.              A serviced alarm must be in position.

   

  3.              There must be external CCTV and lighting.

   

   

  Public Safety

   

  1.              Emergency access must be maintained.

   

  2.              Adequate fire equipment and fire escape routes must be maintained.

   

  3.              All fixtures and fittings shall be maintained in good order and safe condition.

   

  4.              There must be CCTV and external lighting.

   

  5.              Any glasses used shall be toughened glass.

   

  The Prevention of Public Nuisance

   

  1.              There must be no consumption of alcohol on the premises other than occasional wine tasting which shall be conducted in an orderly manner.

   

  The Protection of Children From Harm

   

  1.              Sale of alcohol must only be to persons aged over 18 years.

   

  2.              ID must be requested of anyone under the age of 21 years.
