General
1. The licensees shall work with and adhere to the licensing policy published by local Environmental Services Directorate.
2. The licensees shall promote safe and responsible drinking and behaviour at all times using training and guidelines set out by regulatory bodies.
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
1. Security lighting must be active 24 hours a day.
2. All residents shall have their own keys.
3. No disorderly behaviour shall be allowed.
4. All monies must be kept in a secure hidden safe.
Public Safety
1. The fire system shall be maintained.
2. There must be a first aid box and qualified first aider on the premises.
3. Emergency exits must be clearly marked and unobstructed.
4. There must be signage for spillage and wet areas.
5. There must be a well lit area to the front and rear.
6. Low and non alcoholic beverages shall be sold.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
1. There shall be refusal to sell alcohol to anyone who appears to be intoxicated.
2.. The licensees shall promote responsible drinking.
3. There shall be no rowdy behaviour.
4. There shall be a control of noise levels, only staff shall have control of the volume. Management shall assess the levels regularly.
5. Adequate venting and ducting shall be installed to take away noxious cooking smells.
6. Food shall only be served between 7.30hrs and 21.00 hrs.
The Protection of Children From Harm
1. Signage regarding underage drinking shall be displayed.
2. Proof of age shall be requested (e.g. Portman pass, passport, photo licence).
3. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult in the bar area.
4. There shall be a choice of soft drinks available for under 18's.
