General
1. No alcohol shall be served at the bar and shall only be served at tables.
2. No alcohol shall be served to children under 18.
3. No person showing signs of drunkenness shall be allowed into the premises.
4. People showing signs of drunkenness during meal shall be refused extra alcohol.
5. Binge style drinking shall be discouraged.
6. All supply and sale of alcohol shall be under the control of the Designated Premises Supervisor or his trained and authorised personnel.
7. No alcohol shall be sold to drink at the bar or to take out.
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
1. During opening times the bar must be fitted with a recording CCTV which covers the bar and restaurant entrance.
2. After closing all spirits must be locked away, the till must be emptied and drawer left open.
3. The till must be bolted down and during open times can only be opened with pass code.
4. To avoid disorder drunks shall be refused entry to the restaurant and shall not be served.
Public Safety
1. The premises must be equipped with battery backup emergency lights to show all emergency exits and light passage to them.
2. The doors must have push bar exit and staff shall be trained to assist.
3. To help access to restaurant there must be a mobile ramp for wheelchair over front step.
4. Fire extinguishers must be positioned in and near the kitchen.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
1. As it is a restaurant no loud music shall be played and the customers shall depart at various times to prevent crowds outside.
2. In the event of a party they shall be asked to leave quietly.
3. To avoid problems inside people showing worse for wear from drink shall be refused extra drink and binge drinking shall be discouraged at all times.
The Protection of Children From Harm
1. The premises shall only encourage a family-friendly environment.
2. Children shall only be allowed into the restaurant with an adult member.
3. No alcohol shall be allowed for children under 16 and only wine, beer and cider shall be allowed to 16-17 year olds when eating a meal with an adult, which shall be purchased by an adult. (No bar meals shall be served).
4. No person shall be allowed to purchase any alcohol for under 18's just to drink without provision above.
5. No children shall be allowed in the restaurant after 23.30 hours.
