The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
1. There must be security lighting.
2. No disorderly behaviour shall be tolerated.
3. No cash shall be kept on premises.
4. There must be metal bars on the windows (ground floor) at back of the hall.
Public Safety
1. There must be a fire certificate.
2. There must be a first aid box and accident book.
3. There must be fire safety equipment.
4. Emergency exits must be kept clear.
5. There must be emergency lighting.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
1. The rubbish bin shall be locked away and disposed of in daylight hours.
2. Notices shall be displayed requesting patrons to quietly exit the premises.
3. Noise or vibration shall not emanate from the premises so as to cause the neighbourhood to be disturbed.
The Protection of Children From Harm
1. Children’s groups leaders from the church must be CRB checked.
2. Children must always be accompanied by an adult.
3. The premises must be under the diocese of Exeter Child Protection Policy.
