General
1. There shall be ongoing Health & Safety, Risk Assessment and Fire Training.
2. There shall be in house weekly testing of Fire Alarms, Fire Extinguisher Locations and Fire Exit Accessability.
3. There shall be in house monthly testing of Emergency Lighting.
4. Ongoing staff training shall include age identification procedures and shall stress the need for vigilance at all times.
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
1. Intoxicating liquor shall only be served by waiters/waitresses.
2. Suitable beverages other than intoxicating liquor shall be equally available.
3. The premises shall reserve the right not to serve anybody who appears intoxicated or under age.
4. Persons who look under 18 years of age shall be asked for identification before they shall be admitted alone to the premises or sold alcohol.
5. The only identification that shall be accepted shall be that approved by PASS, photocard driving licences or passports.
Public Safety
1. Non-smoking dining areas shall be available.
2. Emergency exit signs shall be clearly visible.
3. There shall be regular servicing and testing of all Fire Alarms, Fire Extinguishers, Emergency Lights, Extractors and Portable Appliances.
4. The Licensee and some other staff shall hold a Hygiene Certificate.
5. There shall be ongoing Health & Safety, Risk Assessment and Fire Training, and including risk assessment to comply with the Fire Precautions (Workplace) Regulations 1997, as amended.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
1. There shall be background music only.
2. There shall be lockable external windows and doors.
3. The kitchen extract systems shall take smells and grease away from habitable areas.
4. The provision of food and drink to the external seating area shall only be during the hours of 12.00 to 23.00 Monday to Sunday (inclusive).
5. Disposal of rubbish and deliveries of kegs, bottles, food or other materials necessary for the operation of the business shall be carried out at such time or in such manner as to prevent nuisance and disturbances to nearby residents.
The Protection of Children from Harm
1. Children shall only be admitted to the Premises if accompanied by an adult.
2. There shall be a non-smoking section in the dining area.
3. There shall be no activities on the Premises that would be harmful to children.
4. There shall be provision of high chairs for babies and young children.
