The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
1. There must be a CCTV system that can be accessed over the Internet and which stores over 30 days history on its hard drive.
2. All cash must be kept in the safe overnight and banked daily.
3. Only plastic bottes and paper cups shall be used, no glass.
4. The premises must be well lit and all lights shall remain on whilst open.
5. The premises shall also join the Night Net Radio scheme for increased protection for staff and public.
Public Safety
1. The premises shall have fire protection equipment supplied by Dart Fire Ltd of Totnes who completed a fire safety evaluation.
2. The premises shall have emergency lighting (on battery backup) leading to emergency exits indicated by a running man.
3. There shall be non-slip tiles in the customer area and signage available for spillages and wet floors.
4. There must be a first aid box availalbe to staff.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
1. Refuse shall only be placed into receptables outside the premises during daylight hours for security purposes.
2. The premises shall only receive deliveries during daylight hours.
3. The extraction and air conditioning units must be located in positions to prevent a nuisance as no residential properties are nearby.
4. The premises shall not be baking bread after 11pm to prevent smells from the premises.
The Protection of Children From Harm
1. The premises must not serve alcohol or beverages in glass containers.
2. There must be no adult entertainment and no gaming machines.
3. The premises shall alert the relevant authorities if anything was brought to their attention.
