General
1. Any person hiring the centre shall be provided with a booking pack detailing the conditions of use of the centre. Conditions for use of the centre include ensuring that a responsible adult is in charge at all times, no more than the number of people stated on the booking form shall use the premises and all guests must be known to the person hiring the centre.
2. Prominent, clear and legible notices shall be displayed at all exits requesting the users of the centre to respect the needs of the local residents and to leave the premises and the area quietly.
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
1. The maximum occupancy of the building shall not be exceeded at any time.
2. When the building is being hired out, the person hiring the centre shall be provided with conditions of use of the centre.
3. The responsible person shall ensure people leave the building quietly and do not create unnecessary noise.
4. Alcohol shall not be sold on the premises.
Public Safety
1. The fire safety measures with which the premises are provided, shall be maintained in good working order, and their adequacy shall be determined on a regular basis, by the carrying out of a fire risk assessment as required by, and in accordance with the Fire Precautions (Workplace) regulations.
2. People hiring the hall do not exceed the maximum number of people allowed on the premises.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
1. Noise or vibration shall not emanate from the premises such as to cause persons in the neighbourhood to be unreasonably disturbed.
2. The centre shall not be available for hire after 11pm, however, before 11pm if amplified noise is being played all doors and windows shall remain closed to prevent noise emanating from the premises being clearly distinguishable above other noise.
The Protection of Children from Harm
1. The premises shall not be used to show films, nor will it be used for boxing or wrestling.
2. During plays, activities specifically for children there shall be a high adult to child ratio.
3. Alcohol shall not be sold on the premises.
